A FEW WORDS ABOUT DARIUS

As I go through the photos from last night, from Darius's coming-of-age, I can't help but feel a rush of emotions. It seems that only yesterday he was a newborn, small and fragile, and now he is standing before us an adult, ready to start his own journey towards his physical but (inevitably, at the right time) also spiritual maturity. Moments like these remind me how quickly life slips by, how quickly time slips through our fingers like sand.

We've known Darius since he was born. I remember holding him for the first time, marveling at the miracle of life and the infinite possibilities that lay before him. Over the years, I have watched him grow and mature from a good and curious child to the intelligent and balanced man he is today, just like his older brother (PS Robert told me to write this! 😁) .
